Privacy statement
Who is responsible
IDM Solutions B.V., Wormerweg 36, 1464 NC Westbeemster, the Netherlands, KvK 57567352, is the controller for personal data processed through this website and shop. Email privacy questions to info@idm-solutions.nl.
What data we process
When you order: name, company name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing address, VAT number, your reference and note, the products and amounts, and the payment status. Mollie processes your card or bank details; we do not see them, apart from what Mollie reports about the payment.
When you submit a withdrawal: name, email address, order number, the products and anything you add. When you email or call us: what you tell us.
On every visit our host Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to keep the site secure and available. We use no analytics, no advertising cookies and no trackers.
What we keep in your browser
Your project list, your choice to see prices with or without VAT, your view setting and, once you have ordered, your address details for next time are kept only in your own browser (local storage). These are functional data; they reach us only when you check out or request a quote. You can clear them by deleting your browser data for this site.
Purposes and legal bases
To process, deliver and invoice your order and help with warranty and returns: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
To keep our accounts and meet the statutory retention duty for tax: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
To prevent fraud and misuse, secure the site and check VAT numbers in the European Commission’s VIES service: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Who we share data with
Mollie B.V. (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and our order database, stored in Western Europe), Resend (sending confirmation emails), Jortt (bookkeeping and invoices) and the carrier delivering your order (name and address). We have agreements with these parties on security and confidentiality, or they are responsible for their own part, as Mollie is for the payment.
Cloudflare and Resend are US companies. Transfers outside the EU rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Product videos come from YouTube (Google). They load only when you press play, through the privacy enhanced mode youtube-nocookie.com. Google’s terms apply from then on.
We never sell your data and do not use it for automated decisions.
How long we keep data
We keep orders, invoices and withdrawals for 7 years, as Dutch tax law requires. Email not related to an order is kept for up to 2 years. Technical logs at Cloudflare are kept briefly and deleted automatically.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data, restrict its processing, object, and receive your data in a common format. Email info@idm-solutions.nl; we respond within one month. Data we must keep by law cannot be deleted earlier. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Security
The site runs over HTTPS only, with a strict security policy. Access to orders is limited to IDM staff who need it, behind a sign in check.
